Cocoa Beach Sunrise Surf Conditions:

12:20pm = Whoa Man was it fun. Keyword "WAS" fun. The winds have switched on out of the NNW 10-15mph knocking it down along with the tide starting to fill in. I saw a handful of people who caught the report and got out there before it crapped out. If you were one of them then you truley know how fun it was. If not, sorry you missed it. - Josh

7:45am = Well I stand corrected, Just went took some pics and was suprised when a actual set rolled through and it was easily head high! Defiantly bigger than at the Pier! With the waves in between in the Knee-waist range. Winds are expected to turn N-NW and start blowing 10-15kts by dark. - Josh

7am =Cold, Shin-Knee high glassy bumps coming in. In my opinion not worth getting wet and the shivers. Wait till after the tide starts to push back in a couple of hours. Hopefully it will drag in a few sliders w/ it. Winds are WNW less than 5kts. Pics shortly, for now check cams .- Josh

Cocoa Beach 3 day outlook:

Thurs: This is the first, chilly, clean, winter day of the season. Around 45°f again at sunrise but we will have WNW winds all day around 10kts. Wave will be in the waist to rib range in the morning before fading into the knee-rib area. Areas in the Cape Shadow will see smaller surf due to the angle of the ground swell being from the NNE and not expected to fully rotate beyond NE before starting to slowly fade. Sunrise: 6:48 / Sunset: 5:27 P. Cloudy

Friday: Waist high NE ground swell continues in the morning with occasional chest high sets. This drops into the waist range for the afternoon. Clean WNW winds in the morning 5-10kts before tuning NW 10-15kts by mid-day. Sunrise: 6:49 / Sunset: 5:27 P. Cloudy

Sat: Chest to head high NE medium period swell with occasional slightly overhead high sets. This all from our next frontal boundary along w/ brisk 15-20kt NNE-NE winds. Sunrise: 6:49 / Sunset: 5:27

YOU SAID: It would be really nice if you posted the 2 high tides and 2 low tides each day, not just the one. They are always roughly 12 hours apart but, not exactly it would be great if you could give both the a.m. high and low, and the pm high and low. That would be great!

YOU SAID: You have a good report but my complaint is, you are not posting anything early. Lets look at today, swell is due early won't last long either, where's your report for folks that are 45 minutes to an hour away. Has that swell arrived? do i take off work, gas is $4 a gallon. We need an early post. Again you have a good report, just post it early wood be nice

SO I: Have started posting the report at 6:30ish on the days that there is swell... if there is not swell then I sleep in! I think that is reasonable! Feel free to email me your thoughts ;)
